Segway Sunset Vineyard Tour

Hop on a fun and delightful two hour Segway tour and take a beautiful sunset ride through one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms in Stellenbosch. It’s a fabulous way to end off the day by taking in the tranquil setting as you glide through the vineyards. Gliding through one block of vineyards to the next, this tour will give you a complete understanding of how this wine farm practices sustainability through their organic wine making efforts, their happy outdoor hens, as well as passing by the farm’s Natural Water Treatment plant, all while taking in the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

4×4 Vineyard Tour

Enjoy some world-class wines at the top-class Jordan Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. The estate boasts a history dating back over 300 years.

Unique by nature’s design, the Jordan slopes face North, South, East, and West, with vineyards lying at differing altitudes from 150 to 410 meters above sea level. The vineyards benefit from their proximity to both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and enjoy a mild, Mediterranean climate with a maritime influence.

The Jordan philosophy combines the vineyards’ natural assets with innovative management, creating a profound expression of terroir.

The spectacular 360° Tasting Tour of the vineyards is in an open safari-style game viewing Land Rover, with stops to experience the spectacular views of False and Table Bays as well as the flora and fauna of the Cape Winelands. Guests will experience the terroir and geology of the estate whilst tasting a selection of wines in the sustainably grown vineyards. This includes a cellar tour with additional wines to be tasted in the barrel cellar or on the terrace.

Guided Bike Tour

THROUGH STELLENBOSCH

Spend the morning exploring the picturesque Cape Winelands as you ride your bicycle through the historic sites of Stellenbosch, stopping at two wine estates where you’ll get to taste some award-winning wines to suit your palate.

Begin the tour by cycling through Stellenbosch, heading to the scenic Jonkershoek Valley which leads to a wine estate nestled at the bottom of the valley where you can enjoy the stunning views from a lake. From here, you’ll cycle to another wine estate that sports beautiful grounds and historic Cape Dutch architecture. A chocolate and wine pairing will tantalize your tastebuds after an interesting cellar tour. A leisurely cycle will lead you back to Stellenbosch Town before ending the tour.

A combination of horseback riding and wine tasting offers an ultimately enjoyable day in the Cape Winelands. Catering for all levels of riders, from beginners to experienced, saddle up for a scenic horseback ride through wine country with the mountain ranges as a backdrop where you will experience nature from a different perspective. Lunch will be served at a nearby wine estate, followed by a wine tasting shared by knowledge of a certified professional guide at one of the region’s premium wine estates.

E-bike Day tour

from Stellenbosch to Franschhoek

Do you have experience riding electric bicycles, and have a love for wine? Take a one-of-a-kind tour through the idyllic scenery of the South African Winelands. Cycle from the famous Stellenbosch to picturesque Franschhoek, while learning about the region and delighting in some of the region’s best culinary fare.

An exciting cycle along jeep tracks and mountain bike trails will take you over the Helshoogte Pass, a historic route taken by the early Dutch and French settlers. Experience all the beauty of Franschoek from your bike and take in the scenic views and interesting sights along the way.

You may even be lucky enough to spot some wildlife like Eland and the majestic Blue Wildebeest as you travel along the bubbling mountain streams in the Banghoek Conservancy, all while learning about the history and people of the conservancy.
